DIVINE MANDATE WORLDWIDE INAUGURATES 18 KEY OFFICIALS IN GBOKO, BOLSTERING GOVERNOR ALIA'S 2027 RE-ELECTION BID

Gboko, Benue State – On Friday, March 14, 2026, the Convener General of Divine Mandate Worldwide, Sir James Aondoakaa Iorpuu PhD, who also serves as the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management/Benue-SEMA, presided over the inauguration of 18 key officials of the Divine Mandate Support Group.

The ceremony, which took place at the Wish-Dem Hotel in Gboko, was hosted by the Gboko High School Old Students Association (GHSOSA) Set 86. In his address, Sir James Aondoakaa Iorpuu PhD officially welcomed the newly elected officials, emphasizing their crucial role in the Divine Mandate Worldwide Phase 2 initiative. This movement is strategically aimed at strengthening Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia's re-election campaign for the 2027 gubernatorial elections.

Expressing profound gratitude, Hon. Dr. Raphael Ojoh, the immediate past President of GHSOSA Set 86, and Dr. Terhide Igyeegye, the incumbent President, extended their appreciation to Sir James Aondoakaa Iorpuu for his unwavering support. They also paid tribute to the late Dr. J.V. Iorpuu, Sir James' elder brother, acknowledging his substantial and lasting contributions to Gboko High School.

The newly inaugurated leadership, spearheaded by Hon. John Ishon as Coordinator and Hon. Mkohoh Oryina as Deputy Coordinator, solemnly pledged their commitment to diligently execute their responsibilities with vigor and dedication. Their primary objective is to secure Governor Alia's victory in the upcoming 2027 elections across Gboko and beyond.
